Dr. Kazuhito YOKOI
Vice-president of the Intelligent Systems Research Institute of the Japanese National Institute for Science and Advanced Industrial Technologies (AIST). The Institute counts with 2500 stable researchers and the leadership in Humanoids Research. As well, Dr. Yokoi is member of the French-Japanese Robotic Laboratory and associate professor at the University of Tsukuba. Dr. Yokoi is an internationally recognized eminent researcher in the humanoid robotics field. During his experienced career he had been awarded several honours such as the best exposition prize on mechanics and automation from the Electronic and Electric Engineers Institute (IEEE) or the 2005 best research award granted by the Japan Robotics Society. Kazuhito YOKOI graduated in Mechanic Engineering from the Nagoya Institute of Technology and holds a PhD in Science of Mechanic Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
